Over the Hump

This is Bryan (Heinrich the Blue Caterpillar) and Pastor Andy doing kids ministry in Belize.  Tonight is the fifth night that they have been gone from home; only five left until they return.

I’ve been kept busy here and it doesn’t look like it’s going to let up any.  I know the grandkids are missing their daddy, though.  We all attended a birthday party today and all three kids and their Mama, though they are managing, are definitely missing the man of the house.

Tomorrow is church.  I get to teach the 3- and 4-year-old class.  We are talking about Peter walking on the water.

I’m really glad Jesus is in my boat.

Did I remember to tell you that the possum was gone the next morning?  Yep.  Playing possum.

Did have a bit of a kerfuffle last night.  I was just thinking about hitting the hay when daughter called.  She’d had a flat tire on the way home from work.  For a second I just sat there, thinking, “Gee, we are all so accustomed to calling on Dad when we need something like this”.  Daughter hadn’t gone far from work when she discovered the flat tire, and someone she works with saw her and changed it for her.  A knight in shining armor.  All is well.

So, that brings you up to date.  I’m so out of the habit of blogging.  I feel rusty.

Thanks for reading to the end.

The end.
